Hello, I'm Isabella
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in Toronto, Canada.
A few years ago, I relocated here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually evolved into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Began
Moving to Canada wasn't in the grand plan. As with many expatriate moves, it started as a job opportunity and quickly grew into something far more substantial.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and rising expectations. Daily tasks seemed more tangled than they should.
The Transition Phase
Culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning were part of it. Over time, routines took shape. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt steady.
What Prompted Me to Create Copper Atlas Grove
Much online guidance was either corporate-level relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was missing was an honest, everyday family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap with practical guidance drawn from real-life experiences in Canada.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site is about:
- Real-world experience from living in Canada
- Centered on family life and day-to-day realities
- Updated when real changes occur
This site isn't:
- An official tourism authority resource
- A paid-review platform
- A standard travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our stay in Canada goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll keep noting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Toronto or anywhere in Canada, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Best regards,
Isabella
